March 2026 Scripture Writing Plan: 31 Days in the Gospel of Mark
Join this March 2026 Scripture Writing Plan as we walk through 31 key verses from the Gospel of Mark. A simple, meaningful way to write and reflect on Scripture daily.

There’s something about March that feels like a quiet turning.
The ground is beginning to soften. The days stretch a little longer. We start thinking about growth again, not rushed growth, not forced growth, but steady, rooted, faithful growth.
For this March 2026 Scripture Writing Plan, I wanted to do something a little different.
Instead of choosing a theme like I’ve done in years past, we’re going to spend the entire month walking through one book of the Bible together.
This month, we’re spending 31 days in the Gospel of Mark.
Not heavy reading.
Not long passages.
Just 1–2 powerful verses each day.
Simple.
Manageable.
Deep.
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed trying to “do more” in your quiet time, this plan is for you.
Why the Gospel of Mark?
The Gospel of Mark is direct and action-filled. It shows us who Jesus is through what He does.
It’s not complicated.
It’s not lengthy.
It’s clear.
And that feels fitting for this season.
As homemakers, mothers, and women managing full days, we don’t need something complicated. We need something faithful. Something steady. Something we can return to each morning with our coffee before the house wakes up, or during afternoon quiet time when the laundry is running.
Mark keeps our eyes on Christ.
And that changes everything.
How to Use This March 2026 Scripture Writing Plan
Here’s how I recommend using this plan:
- Read the assigned verse slowly.
- Write it out by hand in a notebook.
- Underline words that stand out.
- Spend a few minutes in prayer.
- Go about your day with that truth in your mind.
This is not about checking a box.
It’s about daily anchoring.
Even 10–15 minutes can completely shift the tone of your day.

What You’ll See in This Month
As you move through this March 2026 Scripture Writing Plan, you’ll notice themes emerge naturally:
- Repentance and obedience
- Following Christ
- Faith in the storm
- Servanthood
- Sacrifice
- Watchfulness
- The resurrection
- The Great Commission
Without forcing a “theme,” you’ll experience the full arc of the Gospel, from the beginning of Christ’s ministry to the empty tomb.
And that’s far richer than a surface-level topic.
A Gentle Encouragement for This Season
If you’ve been in a place of recalibrating, spiritually, emotionally, or even practically, this is a good month to simply walk with Jesus.
Not striving.
Not performing.
Not trying to do more.
Just showing up.
Writing one verse.
Praying one prayer.
Trusting one promise.
That is enough.
If you’ve been following these monthly Scripture writing plans for a while now, thank you for walking this road with me. It has meant more than you know.
Let’s step into March quietly, steadily, and rooted in truth.
I’ll be writing right alongside you.
