August 2025 Scripture Writing Plan: Walking in Wisdom

August is a transitional month. Summer starts to fade, routines begin to shift, and the quiet hum of “back to school” and fall preparations begins to stir. In seasons like this, it’s easy to get swept up in to-do lists and decisions, and sometimes even in uncertainty.

That’s why the theme of this August 2025 Scripture Writing Plan is Walking in Wisdom.

Wisdom is more than knowledge. It’s knowing what to do and when, and having the humility to seek the Lord before taking the next step. Whether you’re in a season of transition, decision-making, or just trying to live more intentionally, this plan is meant to help center your heart on God’s truth.

📖 What Is a Scripture Writing Plan?

If you’re new here, each month I create a simple Scripture writing plan based on a theme the Lord has laid on my heart. For this August 2025 Scripture Writing Plan, you’ll find 31 carefully chosen Bible verses from the King James Version, all focused on godly wisdom.

Each day, you’ll write out one verse (or short passage) by hand.

Why write them out? Because slowing down to physically write the Word of God gives it space to settle into your heart. It helps you meditate on truth instead of rushing past it. And it creates a moment of stillness in your day that’s just for you and the Lord.

You don’t need anything fancy…just a notebook, your favorite pen, and a few quiet minutes each day.

🌿 Why Walking in Wisdom?

When we walk in wisdom, we’re choosing to seek the Lord’s direction instead of leaning on our own. We’re not expected to have all the answers, we’re simply called to walk closely with the One who does.

As homemakers, wives, and mothers, we make dozens of decisions a day. What to say. What to cook. What to keep. How to discipline. How to show love when we feel empty. We need wisdom, not the world’s wisdom, but God’s.

This month’s plan is a quiet invitation to slow down and ask:
“Lord, how would You have me walk today?”

🌿 A Simple Way to Quiet Your Heart

One of my favorite things about creating these Scripture writing plans is hearing how women are quietly growing in their faith through this small, steady practice. Some keep their plans in a notebook, others write in their Bible margins, and a few even involve their older children.

Whether you’ve been following along each month or this is your first time joining, I pray that this August 2025 Scripture Writing Plan becomes a gentle anchor for your heart. A reminder that you don’t have to figure everything out, God has wisdom for the taking if we’ll only ask for it.
